Colon Hydrotherapy
A gentle, refreshing cleanse to help your body release, reset, and restore balance.
What Is a Colonic?
A colonic—also known as colon hydrotherapy or colonic irrigation—is a gentle, therapeutic cleanse of the large intestine using warm, purified water.
During a session, warm water flows slowly into the colon, softening and loosening built-up waste. The water and waste are then released naturally, and this gentle fill-and-release cycle continues throughout your session.
At Harmony Health & Wellness, I use a closed system called the Aqua Cleanse Colonic Irrigation System, an FDA-approved device which features an internal pre-warm system and internal sanitizing system for your safety and comfort.
A typical session lasts 30–45 minutes, giving your body the time it needs to gently release what no longer serves it.

What to Expect During Your Session
I understand that trying something new—especially something so personal—can feel a little intimidating. Here's a step-by-step overview of what your session will look like so you know exactly what to expect:
Arrival & Paperwork
You'll complete a brief intake form and we'll spend a few minutes getting to know each other.
Preparation
You'll use the restroom, then undress from the waist down and wrap yourself in a paper gown. (You may keep your top and socks on.)
Getting Comfortable
You'll lie on your side on the treatment table while I gently insert a small, sterile speculum. Then you'll turn onto your back with a pillow under your head and your feet slightly elevated.
The Session
Warm, purified water flows gently into and out of your colon. I'll be with you the entire time, monitoring the equipment, asking how you're feeling, and adjusting as needed to ensure your comfort.
Finishing Up
Once the session is complete, I'll remove the speculum. You'll use the private restroom, get dressed, and we'll chat briefly about how you're feeling.
Checkout
You'll check out at the front, and if you'd like, we can schedule your next appointment.
🔒 Privacy Note
Your comfort and dignity are my top priorities. The treatment room is completely private, and curtains allow you to move between the treatment area and restroom without being seen. You'll be fully covered throughout the procedure, with the exception of the brief speculum insertion.
